Eating Disorder Treatment At FSL
Individualised Approach, Robust Treatment
Treating eating disorders is a complex process that is unique to each client and their current relationship with food and their body. We offer Individualised, affirming and interdisciplinary care grounded in our nutrition philosophy framework. Every client we support receives individual nutrition counseling services with a registered dietitian as well as individual therapy sessions with a clinical eating disorder specialist.
How It Works
Our dietitians and therapists collaborate with outside providers and coordinate off-site lab testing if needed. Individual support can also include supported grocery shopping trips, meal planning and exposure as one-on-one meal support sessions. For partial residential clients, care can include apartment checks to monitor groceries and to check for items that are indicated as therapy-interfering or unsafe by the treatment team (scales, mirrors, diet foods, diet pills, laxatives, etc).
